Nope I’m NOT pregnant!!!!!  LOL…..we picked up a puppie at Wal-mart yesterday …..well not really in Walmart but from some people giving them away in the parking lot.  He/She/It (I can’t tell) is a mix of miniature daschund and pomeranian.  She’s very lovable and spoiled already I think.  The kids love her.  They named her Sparky.  I figured I’ll call it her til I know what it is.  Hubby pretends not to love her too much but he snuggles with her most.  Here’s some pics I wanted to share.

Today I made Punchbowl Cake for our church small group.  I didn’t have pineapples so I just used my strawberries, vanilla pudding and angel food cake.  It was good but I missed the tangy pineapples flavor.  My poor kiddos don’t get to come to small group so I always have to make two of everything.  Today they chose strawberry shortcakes instead of Punchbowl Cake.  Drew enjoyed his A LOT.  Check out this face!

Want to know why my blog has been neglected this week??? Well………This week has been jam packed FULL of activities both in school and at night for school.  It seems that every year toward the end we begin to have a banquet/show/reward program/graduation/etc.  EVERY night.  I’m exhausted….lol….only 18 days left!!!

O.k. so this is SO not scrapping related (well I guess it would be if I took pics of them and scrapped….lol).  I have fixed up my front flower bed ready for another year.  However, I refuse to put annuals in it because year after year I spend all that money on flowers for them to die halfway through.  So I’m looking for pretty shrubs, bushes, roses, etc.  Any suggestions???

Thanks so much for your replies to my nasal passage obstruction story!  Wow!  You all had some great tales.  I loved the one of the little boy with the scrapes on his chest and when asked about them said, “Oh nothing, I just fell out of the tree.”  That is so much like my boys.  Thanks for sharing your stories with me!

Here’s a sneak peek of week one!!!!

Well we think we know what’s wrong with my 5 year old – yep, nasal passage obstruction.  You see his nose has been leaking like a faucet since Easter with no other symptoms.  THere was no fever no sore throat, nothing else to alert us that he might be sick except a one nostril extremely green runny nose.  I just figured it was allergies and let him “work it out” on his own except I didn’t know he couldn’t work it out….lol.  So Monday after school I took him to the doctor and yep they seem to think he has stuffed something up a nostril that is infecting his sinuses.  So for the next 10 days we are on antibiotics and at the end of that we have to go in for x-rays and a consultation on how to get this “thing” out.  Ahhh……life with boys!

On the other hand, my get to know me chat is tonight for KnK at 9 est., 8 central, etc. I have a few fun things planned to do and a few freebies to give away. Well I NEED to go get dressed now so I can go to school (25 Days LEFT!!).  Summer needs to hurry!  Have a great day!!!

And we are back at school today! Blah! It’s also soooo freezing cold outside!!! (40 degrees – lol) I know for some of you this isn’t cold but we were in the high 80s this weekend and now 40. Trevor is sick again with asthma and allergies.  My head cold is getting worse with these crazy temperatures!!  I want SUMMER….I live for SUMMER…..I dream of SUMMMER!!!! LOL….can you tell I’m a teacher??? 27 DAYS LEFT!!!
