Well I just finished a layout with Backyard Playground by Rachael (Creations by Rachael). Her kit is part of a huge collab that will be FREE and I think it comes out tomorrow!! I had so much fun playing with the pieces in this kit!!

 Tomorrow at Scraphead we will start the new daily download for July.  We have decided to bring you Sweet Treats as your July free kit!!!  Here’s my first download!

This kit centers around treats like ice cream and popsicles with lots of fun elements as well as yummy papers and pieces!!

One of the designers with me at Scraphead has a REALLY cool item out!  It is called Getting Boxxie and they are actual wooden boxes.  Have a look!

I have been stumped for a while now on how to scrap for a girl!! With all boys to scrap I am having a tough tough time scrapping my childhood pics but I have a second layout complete and I think I can do this!! Here’s my latest creation from the kit Amethyst Butterfly by Carol Burns.

 

We have a new designer at Scraphead and I am so excited!!!  The new designer, Cassell, creates PSP scripts!!  PSP scripts are SO hard to find.  There are many PS scripts out there but so few PSP ones.  She’s got 3 great folded ribbon scripts already in the store so drop on by and check her out.

Do any of you take your children to the public library for story times during the summer??  What’s your “theme” for the summer??  Our theme in the state of Louisiana is “Be a star” which makes for some interesting programs.  We have lots of storytellers and “stars” from the various towns come by to visit with the kids at the library.

I saw a shirt out at the ballpark this past weekend that said, “Make love, not babies.” It was from Ambercrombie and FItch.  I can not believe that they would put that on a shirt.  It was just downright appalling to me that now babies are the “evil” out of it all.  What’s the world coming to?

And lastly a layout I completed with Carol Burn’s kit Amethyst Butterfly.  I am trying to scrap pictures of my brother and myself when we were little.  Here’s one of me.

I keep forgetting to update my blog!!  It’s been a week since I was last here but I just wanted to drop by and say hello!  Can you believe the gas prices???  Here in Louisiana we are around $3.91 so hubby and I found an Ethanol station this weekend for my FlexFuel Suburban.   It wasn’t cheap by any means but $3.45 is DEFINITELY better than $3.91 and she seems to be running fine. 

I had a conference for school all last week since I have to teach an hour of science next year.  (It’s outside of my certification.)  So I was gone for the most part and had work, homework, tests, and presentations.  YUCK!  But I did have fun even if it was stressful.

On a good note, we are having a sale at Scraphead!!!  Everything is 40% off in honor of our grand REopening!  Get some goodies here!  Well I’ll see ya later!

…..and I haven’t posted in a few days.  Tomorrow is hubby’s birthday but he’s away at work and we would normally surprise him by going out to see him but not this year with gas prices.  Instead we will call and wish him a happy birthday over the phone and umm…..that’s it.  I was kinda sad about it but I think it may do.  His present is golfing with his best friend this weekend so he will really enjoy that if they don’t die of heat stroke.  LOL…….
